We are not happy, we will sue China if found guilty, US President says

by | April 28, 2020 0

The president of the United States of America, Mr Donald Trump, accompanied by the Vice President of United States of America said he was considering suing China if found guilty after his investigation over the source of COVID-19 outbreak saying:

“Today, I’ll like to provide you with an update in our war against the coronavirus. The US had now conducted more than 5.4 million tests, newly doubled the number of the tests done in any other country, more than twice as much as any other country. We are doing very serious investigations as you probably know, and we are not happy with China. We are not happy with the whole situation, because we believe it could have been stopped in the source. We could have stopped it quickly and it wouldn’t have spread all over the world and we think that should have happened”

In response to this threat of Trump to the Chinese, Geng Shuang accuses Americans thus:

“American politicians have repeatedly ignored…have been telling bad face lies. They have only one objective, shift their responsibilities for their poor epidemic prevention and control measures and divert public intentions. But the fact speaks louder than words and justice naturally inhabits a man’s heart. Their plot can never succeed.”

For months now, China and US have been laying accusations and insults on each other in ways of handling the killer virus COVID-19. Since the knowledge of the virus to the world, President Trump has been accusing China of their negligence and not alerting the public of the leak in one of their virus institutes in the country, specifically Institute of Virology, Wuhan, calling it “Chinese Virus”. The Chinese scientist, Prof Yuan Zhiming, insisted that though the first case of the virus was recorded 30kms from the said institute, there is no link between the lab and the outbreak and thus, based on assumptions not facts.

Trump, having said earlier that the coronavirus was not worth the time and effort, rather business, is in a quest to reshape the state to its initial state prior to the pandemic outbreak and people getting back to work. Tension is raised by the people and the president seems frustrated having lost out of ideas/solution health wise on the pandemic. At first, he suggested that hydrochloquine might be the solution to the virus. Later, he suggested disinfectant, though he said it was a sarcastic solution. That can’t be a joke in a time like this. He is now on to seeking damages from China over the loss of US if found guilty after his investigations.

Speaking arbitrarily, China is also affected in this crisis, though unlike US who have more than two hundred deaths and a shaky economy. China blames Trump of mismanagement of the crisis, besides, US is not the only country affected by the virus. On this view, Australian government have suggested that there be an international enquiry to the origin of the coronavirus but we know it is tactless to do so.
